The VOLT Festival 2010 Budapest

The VOLT Festival is coming to Budapest, Wednesday, June 30th, and goes on until July 3rd in Sopron, one of the most exciting multi-cultural festivals in Central Europe.

Sopron is located 200 km from Budapest. It is a four day music festival with 15 stages and 200 performances that include concerts, DJs, theatre shows and other performances like stand-up comedy and children’s programs. The guests have gone from only 800 in 1993 to 70,000 in 2009.

Popular genres of music will include rock, pop, jazz, hip-hop, electro and world music and have included performers like Marilyn Manson, Cypress Hill, The Prodigy, Korn, The Cult, Pet Shop Boys, Thievery Corporation and many others. Tickets cost €30 until midnight June 10th, and €35 from the 11th of June. The same dates apply for tickets for all four days at €75 and €85. €170 tickets will gain admittance for all ticket holders for all days both to the VOLT Festival and the Heineken Balaton Sound festival.
