Of course, if you work for a multinational company, the government or NGO/charity organization, then moving abroad is easier. In those cases, there would be people within the organization that are experienced in helping people move to another country.
If you want to move abroad on your own, then, as they say, "good luck with that”! There are mountains of forms, applications, documents and registrations to be filled out.
To help comprehend the process, it may first help to understand that the governments involved probably don't really want you to do it. Why? One can only speculate. However, it stands to reason that the government of the country you are leaving doesn’t want to lose a taxpayer. Also it stands to reason that the government of the country you are moving to doesn't want you take away a job from a citizen/voter of his country.
In addition, countries like the US and those of Western Europe have difficult immigration policies, especially towards countries with people they feel undesirable. Those countries in turn make it equally difficult/quasi-impossible as sort of a quid pro quo.
With that in mind, off we go…
