There's a new political party in Hungary and with upcoming national elections, we can only wonder if LMP will be able to get it up for voter enthusiasm.

There is a new political party in Hungary called Lehet Mas Politika or, roughly translated: „Maybe there can be a new politics.”
Maybe.
If by some fluke they did win, they could continue business as usual and then run on the slogan „We did say ’maybe.’” (Montunk Lehet!)
Throw in the fact that their initials read like a vanity license plate for someone who is proud of their impotence, and the outlook for the party is fairly grim.
The idea, though, is good. Hungarians are tired of politics as usual.
Hungarians are looking for some sort of change. Many are not so enamored with Viktor Orbán, who has already been the Prime Minster once and is set to become PM again in the upcoming elections. Orbán is a fairly divisive figure who seems to get attacked from both the left and the right.
The formation of LMP brings up the question of whether some other party can break the monopoly held by Fidesz and the Socialists.
In the meantime, LMP looks to be a footnote in these elections. Maybe next time they can change their colors to blue, get a marketing tie in with Viagra, and form a coalition with the DCK party.
