Hunglish assesses what happened in Hungary's national elections of 2010. In short, former Prime Minister Viktor Orbán is baaaaaaaa-ack!

Fidesz, the center-right party headed by Viktor Orbán was given an outright majority of parliament seats in the Hungarian elections on April 11. The elections brought resounding defeat to the socialists (MSZP), a crushing defeat for MDF, a good showing for LMP and Jobbik.
Jobbik the far-right nationalist party, gained almost as much support as the Socialists.
Fidesz ran on the campaign slogan „Itt az idő,” which translates literally to „Here the time” but might be better translated „now is the time.”
They never actually said what time it was.
At Disneyworld, there used to be an atrraction called the „carousel of progress.” It showed the progression of an American family at around the turn of the century. If you ever saw the attraction, you would remember a little song that the played. Over and over throughought the show.
The song was entitled „Now is the time.” Google it if you want an infectious tune in your head. Every time I saw a Fidesz poster, I thought of that silly song and that Disney attraction. Orbán, like the animatronic figures at „the carousel of progress,” is Hungarian prime minster again. He looks like he has been slightly aged by Disney makeup artists to make him look more distinguished.
„Now is the time, now is the best time...”
